DOCUMENTATION MATRIX

The documents have their own route.

International horse and livestock movements depend on documents being valid at the correct point in the journey. Requirements can differ between the origin country, transit jurisdictions and destination.

7SF creates a movement-specific documentation matrix showing what may be required, which party is responsible, and at what stage each document must be available.

Animal identity

Passport, microchip and other identification records relevant to the animal and intended movement.

Veterinary

Health examinations, laboratory tests, vaccinations and export or import health certification as applicable.

Transport

Transporter, vehicle, driver or attendant and journey documentation where required by the applicable rules.

Customs & transit

Export, transit, temporary admission, re-export and import documents depending on the route and purpose.

Handover control

Document transfer and verification at staging points or transporter changes.

Where a certificate, permit, customs declaration or veterinary document must be issued by a competent authority or authorised professional, 7SF coordinates the process and the relevant parties rather than representing itself as that issuing authority.
